Help with Balanced Engine

About 11 years ago I had my engine rebuilt. I purchased new S5 rotors and had the rotating assembly balanced. The flywheel used at the time was a 12lb steel flywheel from a 12a.

Since the rebuild I have broken 3 transmissions and two differentials. I recently purchased a TII parts car and have all of the pieces to put the TII driveline in my car. Here is the problem.

The flywheel is one piece. There is no seperate counter weight. Given the fact that the flywheel was balanced with the engine I am worried about putting a factory counterweight on a Fidanza flywheel for a turbo.

I am set on using the TII driveline because I am tired of breaking NA components.

Keep in mind that the car is a Track only car (SOLO II and Open Track) but never sees above 8000 RPM

So far these are my Options.

1. Use the Fidanza flywheel with S5 auto counter weight. Hope it is not too far out of balance and break the engine.

2. Use the current flywheel with a modified clutch disc to fit the TII transmission and modify the Bellhousing so the starter will engage the flywheel.

I would like to hear your thoughts.

#2 or take the engine apart and rebalance with a new flywheel w/ a removeable counterweight.
