Exclamation HELP ASAP! '90 FC idle suddenly stuck at 3k. Have road trip in the morning!

Help! My FC just suddenly got stuck at a 5000rpm idle after pulling out on to the road. Fiddled around with some stuff and got it down to 3000rpm.

Earlier I replaced my leaky Godspeed radiator with a new Koyorad. Everything was fine. Drove around all afternoon, about 40miles. Went down to the convenience store an hour ago. Went to get back on to the 45mph road and after I had accelerated, it was stuck at 5k rpm. Pulled over, started checking things, found the vacuum sensor (by the passenger shock tower) had come disconnected from the hose. Put it back on, idle stuck at 3k now. Haven't been able to get any change from unplugging the IAC. Checked TPS, everything normal.

ATM, I'm sitting in a parking lot, in the middle of a lighting storm, waiting on a tow. And I'm supposed to leave in 5 hours for Laguna Seca.

Check to see if the throttle cable has gotten stuck, bound up, etc. Don't know if you could have a vacuum leak bad enough to do that and still run. Maybe pull the cable off the TB and see if the idle drops back down.

Throttle cable is fine. No vacuum leaks I could find.

Do you have cruise control as it has a cable as well. And w/the car idling at 3000 rpm can you press 'upwards' on the front throttle linkage any so as to drop the idle speed?

And you could also try unplugging the Accelerated Warmup System solenoid. Has a Brown/Yellow wire to it.

It was the Relief 1 solenoid. Got it fixed. Stopped in Redding right now. Thanks for the advice everyone!
