hey i was just going over your page and just thought i would give this a shot.

IM putting a t2 back together and what my problem is that when i put the battery in and connect it im getting a fire from the parking break cable. its mainly the part of it that runs to the passenger rear of the car. i don't know why this is happening but am scared its going to cook the car.

second this body didn't come with a radio and the security light on the center council blink and i think thats why the car wont crank. how do i bypass this if i don't have a radio to put codes in to shut it of.

if you can help with either of these questions i would greatly appreciate it thanks.

FIRE? Damn- that does NOT sound good. Not sure what is going on there.

As for the security light, the radio has nothing to do with it. You probably have a bad door switch and the car thinks the key is out of the ignition and both doors are locked, arming the system.

hey i do remember the door switch sticking in when i hooked the battery up i will change them tomorrow. thanks i hope it works.

Make sure your polarity on your cables is CORRECT!!!!
