Help!!
 

Today I started the install of a new right rear wheel bearing,The head of one of the 14mm bolts that holds the slider/brake pad cradle to the hub broke off.So now I can't get the slider/cradle off.I tried to fit a drill back there to install and easy out,but there is no room.My question is...can I remove the whole hub assembly so as to gain acess to the broken bolt.I tried to turn the 21mm bolt that hold the hub to the swing arm and it's just as frozen as the caliper bolts.I don't want to use a torch because of the bushing that's in there,what are my options?

they sell tools at most auto stores for situations such as that. you could remove the hub if you absolutly need to but try to find the tool first. a buddy of mine did the same thing he needed he got that tool and fixed the problem (sorry don't remember the name of it though) torch+brake fluid = boom don't do it. good luck!

I'm removing the hub but the front bolt is frozen into the swing arm
I don't want to break off another bolt.

did you let the bolts soak in rust penetrant?

getting the caliper and slider off as a unit would probably be your best bet, if the bolts break then so be it, then you would probably need to locate one on the forum or at a wrecking yard.

the bolt to the slider broke off so I'm not gonna get the slider and caliper off as one unit.I have to remove the hub.
