hi everyone im new here so Hi :D

i found 2 rx7s that i was interested in buying but i wanted to come here first and ask you guys something... the first rx7 is a 1990 gxl that has 174,000 miles on it and the a/c doesnt work but the person who is selling it tells me everything else is good and theres no leaks anywhere.. and the other rx7 i found is a 1986 rx7 (dont know the model) it had 74,350 original miles on it but the lady who is selling it says that everthing is good in the car except that you always have to keep on adding radiator fluid to it.. i cant remember if she said that if there wasnt any leaks in it but if there is would it be hard to fix? and if there isnt..could it be over heating? well if anyone could help me out on buying these cars or warning me from what could happen from a car that has 174000 miles and a car that you have to add radiator fluid every once in a while.. it would be very helpful.. well thanks alot.. and im glad to be here.

good thing going for the 86 is that the lady told you there was a prob so at least you know shes sorta honest... but as far as leaks go, unless its something you can find ouside the engine id prolly say away from it... might spell a rebuild in the near future....

also 174 is kinda high, but only a compression test would be able to tell if the engine is in good shape.

either way you may be looking at a rebuild soon for either engine... so id factor that into your thoughts as far as price go... if everything is reusable you can get a rebuild as cheap as like 1100 bucks or so

the 1990 is $2200 but the guy is throwing in a free 1988 rx7.. he says its just a parked car.. and the 1986 is for $1200 i can probably get $1000 for it

Tell her motor is about to die and a new one costs over 2 grand. Then offer her 400$ :)
