Hello all, just got an 89 TII
 

Hey there, not normally in this forum because I've been only running an 83 LE but I just got handed an 89 TII that my dad had been building for a while but since he just got re-married he doesn't have time to finish.

I don't know a huge amount about the car but I know it has a lot of work done to it already. He re did the suspension and then used spacers to get the ride hight and wheel base exactly the way he wants. He also had the frame in the front modified to hold the FMIC and all so from the outside the car looks like a base model with wheels (he swapped to the GTUs hood). The motor is a fresh rebuild (I think ported will have to ask him next time I call. It has a T70 turbo mounted on it with a custom manifold. I believe he is running something like 900cc and 1200cc injectors in it (again will have to ask) and it is all controlled by a Haltek E6K with a custom harness with widebands and a 3bar MAP. He did take the time to strip it to a rolling chassis and repainted every last centimeter of the car and subframes so it is wicked clean. It has a black interior to go in it also.
