headlight conversion

i was wondering how you get the whole "sleepy eye" look on the headlights. anybody have an idea??

I just asked about this, and a lot of people provided answers. I actually just converted mine earlier today!

Theres a few ways of going about doing it. EBay has a kit for like 75 bucks that allows you to adjust the angle. I say screw paying for it.

What I found to be the easiest way was to take out the fuse labeled 'retractor' (30) under the hood. You could also unplug the light motor if your hands are small enough to get in there, or unhook the battery. Then get under the car, beneath the lights. Theres a rubber boot under each light covering a white wheel. Turn the wheel to lower or raise the lights. The only downside to taking the fuse out is when you pop it back in, they automatically readjust. Youre gonna have to keep the fuse out if you want them stuck that way. You can still use the lights, at the cost of lower nighttime visibility ;)

Hope that helps, and thanks to those who told me the same :)

jn2k, would that work on a 90 gxl?

jn2k108 Jan 8, 2006 07:59 PM

of course, it works on all.

yeah i pulled out the fuse and adjusted the headlights myself to see how it looks. im thinking about getting that kit so my headlights arent like that 24/7.

Well if you guys really want a controller I have 7 of the 100% pure JDM PIVOT Headlight level controllers. $93 a piece. Probably cheaper if you ask nicely.

If your going to leave it like this and drive at night I highly recommend converting your headlights to h4 bulbs.
