I have searched cant find anything, I can get the tranny for free. Thought it would be good to have for the future.

All 2g transmissions are interchangable if im not mistaken. The exterior of the motors are almost identical.

Yes it will work. People from junkyards are morons, don't ever ask a shop, junkyard, etc about a car unless they specialize in that particular make...especially a Rotary car!!

UNLESS it is a TII or an automatic. Those transmissions require engine and other drivetrain changes.
