Has anyone rebuilt an LSD?
I'd like to know what parts (friction discs, etc.) are certain to need replacing, as I'd like to order as many parts in advance as I can. I can see from the FSM that some measuring / clearancing is necessary for final determination, but if you could let me know what is most likely, I can order the bulk from mazdamotorsports, and pick up odds & sods from the dealer.
Also, if you have any tips or advice. This is a clutch pack LSD from an NA. Do you really need a 7" micrometer, or is there a work around? Thanks in advance! |
