has anyone got there e-shaft polished by a machine shop
 
i have a s4 13bt e-shaft with tiny tiny pitting in one area and was wondering if i could get it polished like i did with my 22re crank. is it possilbe??
just messure and make sure the oil clearence are ok?

has anyone dont it before

if its a no no i guess ill have to get another shaft but i dont see why its not posible.

I dont see why you couldnt i always polish cranks when i put in new bearings since it only 25 buck at a local shop here. They do it with a cork band

so u have polished your e-shaft correct?

No just piston cranks but i see no reason why not. Your not taking any material away just any minute imperfections
