Blew mine when taking the intercooler on and off. Touched the intercooler to the altenator lead. POP. Went to the junk yard to get one because I needed to go there for another reason. Jury rigged a 60amp in its place in the between time. I am sure any MAZDA dealer would have one. Might try Autozone or PepBoys also.

In case you don't know, it doesn't just pop in and out like the others. There are two screws on either side of the fuse box holding it in.

FELIX WANKEL .....Where were you when I was trying my dead level best to pull that sucker out??????? Had to figure that out by myself. Brute force failed one more time. In my case I decided that it was best if one disconnected the battery lead prior to taking a screwdriver to the dead fuse. Could cause a few sparks if not careful.

I learned the hard way too, after shorting the alternator lead with a prybar. I shattered my fuse with some channel locks trying to get the bitch out. Then I saw the screws and felt dumb.. :(

I nailed alternator lead too by mistake, and heard pop.. Was freaking out.. nothing worked in car... Well I checked fuses and sure enough the main was blown... Not hard to take out... And you can get replacement at any autostore... I got one at Autozone here in Nebraska...

I got a new fuse. Thanks for the help. I thought it was a female fuse lie the other ones in the box so wen I went to a store thats all they had and when I went to the mazda dealer they said it was the right one :D . Does anyone know if there is electrical wider running through the passanger A-Piller??

Is this fuse only on TIIs? All the fuses I have seen under the hood is 4 i believe & they just pull right out. And I got mine at discount auto parts. Thanks.
