hard to start when cold
 

i have an 86 gxl with a rebuilt motor with around 30,000 miles on it and ever since ive had the car it has been hard to start when it gets cold outside. during the summer its no prob it fires right up, during the winter it takes forever for it to turn over. my dad said some thing about the choke i was wondering if anyone had any ideas,or if there cars is like this

mine is like that but i dont know, it doesnt get as cold here as in utah. i just get up earlier and keep trying. sorry.

same thing happen with mine and i live in california!!!!

What is cold outside (30F? 40F? 50F? 70F?) and when it starts hard, what do you mean???

It has to crank long to start?

It doesn't turn over as fast?

need more info...
