Haltech

How much exactly is a Haltech.

Depending on where you buy it from expect to spend around $1,000 to $1,200.

I got mine for $1210 loaded, which is a GOOD price. You wont find a place that sells one loaded like that in the US. You need to talk to an Aussie. You can also tack on a few bucks for misc things youll need to install it ($100).

The tid, boost sensor, Sr, Afm, all emissions shit. I also bought mine for a grand total 1200. That was also a fully terminated kit.

I just bought a cheapy NEC versa laptop to use with the haltech. My brand new Compaq wouldn't work, and my mates IBM thinkpad worked but the datalogging was very slow (only updated about once a second). I've heard that the later versions of windows don't support serial communication in DOS too well. The NEC works a treat and cost me $AUD180.
