Halp, clutch on the floor
Yes, I searched.
But here's what I am going weird about, I just rebuilt my clutch master, and my slave seems that it is moving, clutch is still on the floor... Here's what i did 1. Bled the CMC 2. Took it out 3. Rebuilt it 4. Put back in 5. Didn't screw it in enough so it leaked a little 6. Screwed it in 7. Started to bleed it I'm not done with bleeding it but when I am I will update you guys... It's still stuck on the floor, so I am not sure that it will come back up... Some one enlighten me, I was told that there was a throw out bearing in the tranny that might need to be replaced... Is this so? |
i occasionally have the same problem and I believe it is a very slow leak in my slave cylinder becuase all I have to do is refill the resevoir pump it a couple times and its good as new. If you arent losing fluid then I dont know what to tell you haha

Oh I'm losing alot! To the point where it just leaks all of it into my carpet hahaha
I am replacing the whole clutch hydraulic system so I'm good. |
haha well i guess that will solve the problem

I would jump on that, man. I paid 60 for just the master cylinder in town. Parts like that are oem quality meaning they were manufactured equal to your original stock parts. After reading more, I would say you rebuilt the mc wrong, or there isn't a seal in your rebuild to fix whats leaking. If you have fluid leaking into the cabin it is definitely the mc itself leaking.
