good turbo package?
 

either of these a good replacement for the stock turbo with a slight increase in HP. I want more responciveness rather than raw power. ie boost come in at lower rpm and holds. i'm really only looking to put out 280 - 300bhp at the max.

assuming you have the fuel to feed it and a way to control it, its a good turbo. the size and all that would be what affects how early it spools and everything.

yes the size is the way to determine the spool to rev time but I unfortunately still do not understand how to calculate turbo size to power and spool ratio. i think the general concensus from what i've been reading is to use a .60 - .62 turbo, but i'm not quite sure what that means to me.

you can check the single turbo section, they're good with that stuff. But getting a bigger turbo requires a ton of other supporting mods. You're better off getting all these things first with a stock turbo, then later adding a bigger turbo.

That GReddy setup is a very good deal for what you get.

If you are only looking for 300bhp then the GReddy TD06-20G will do that for you. But there are other turbos out there that are cheaper and will produce the same or better results for you. Like NOPR mentioned though, there are a TON of supporting mods that have to happen prior to putting a bigger turbo on your car.
