Good coil resistance. Weak spark?
I just tested the resistance of the leading coils on my 88 TII and I got a reading of 0.6 ohms, which is good. I have gone through several grounds and sanded them down to make good contact. The spark used to be nonexistent on the leading coils and now after repairing grounds, I am getting an extremely weak spark. My guess is this is a ground-related issue? What's everyone's thoughts and suggestions on this? I'd like a diagram of the location of all the vital grounds if someone can provide it or at least point me in the direction to find a diagram of it.
I also tested the voltage leading to the coils and the grounding around the coils is good, but it seems I am getting ZERO voltage. James |
No clue, anyone? Please people, I am in dire need of advice because the only decent rotary shop around my place locally just fled the state supposedly.
