Good buy?

I'm wondering if this is a good buy. I'm kind of concerned about the idle problem.

Hard to tell when cold beause of the accelerated warm up system,When it does warm up it stays around 1500 to 1900 rpm's.This is because of the engine being replaced. In other words I have to calibrate the car to the new engine. The shortblock is what I replaced, the rest of the engine is original to the car.

I haven't done one yet but it does run real strong. It idles high because the idle needs to be adjusted. Also will time the engine as well.It also has a centerforce stage 2 clutch and aftermarket exhaust made by pacesetter. And some parts on the engine are also new like the water pump, sparkplugs, gaskets and seals etc..
That's the reason given for the high idle. I'm not near an expert so does this seem like a good explanation?

He's asking $2000. High?

The high idle is a non-issue, but it could be masking a BAC problem.
I suspect there are other issues that don't bother the seller, but might bother you.
The price could be OK if the general condition is good.

You really need to look it over in person.
