a good 400WHP build?

Ok my name is tim and I am doing a swap on a 90 FC and getting a 13bt since it is NA. I was wondering if all of you RX GURU's out there could share some of your knowledge on what would be a smart way to achieve a strong 400whp. Not a big worry on cost since this is going to be a project so just through out some advice I am all for listening.

Thanks for all the help I have gotten so far.

I have learned a lot,but still have a lot to learn

ummm, phatty port, rebuild, big ass turbo, stand alone, good ass tuner, bigger injectors, better pump, basically a bigger turbo which in return causes you to buy a shitload of things that will work with the new turbo

heres basically my setup for 400 hp

Microtech lt10s
T4/1.06 GT35R
750/1600 combo
Upgraded fuel pump.
Tubular manifold
50mm wastegate
SS Fuel system(not necessary, but looks nice)
Coolingmist Water injection setup.
Those are the big items, of course i have other small things.

well now that I read down the line and I keep hearing about a BNR stage 2 and a good stand alone can get about 300whp? what is this exactly? (sorry am still pretty new and you can insult me I can take it) I guess getting 400whp is a long expensive road and getting to that point I am looking at racefuel. I want a good build that I could run daily and well if i could get 400 out if it then sure.

88t2romad I am still learing all the acronyms but your mods consist of a bigger turbo injectors fuel pump mani a waste gate and fuel system.

What is the water injection system and microtech Lt10's

here is some more info on the bnr upgrades http://www.bnrturbos.com/2ndGen.htm

you dont need water cooling,

wanna know the cheapest way to get some decent ponies

get a bnr stage 3 or 4, you wont need a standalone for that, just a sAFC2 or any piggy back system.

there will be no need for a need manifold or wastegate and such, saves you a couple g's.

of course youll need to upgrade the pump and injectors, but still you save alot of money.

and youll need a new FMIC, just dont blow your shit up. play it safe

well ill say to get to 400whp you need a couple of things, if you port your engine it will be easier but you can get those numbers out of a stock port engine. standalone, fmic, big turbo like a 62-1, bigger injectors, external wastegate and running on race gas you can get those numbers. of course those are the main things but you have to add the exhaust and all the other things apart from that.

good luck

62-1 with a good tune will land over 400whp.

thanks for all the good info and I like that BNR setup that is pretty sweet. I heard about all the piggy back system but honestly I would rather go stand alone I have head lots of good stuff about the Apexi Power FC and most people told me why go piggy back just go all the way with a good stand alone. A big front mount was absoulutly in my plains I just picked up the RE2000 front end conversion and that just screams front mount. Porting is a must I think I am going to do a full stage 2 street port. I am going to have a 3" turbo back also so that may help boost my numbers

Thanks for all the good advice and thanks intial D is real for the BNR info I think that is road I am going to go down

I will let you all know how it turns out
