I like black, a shiny black that is, like I have on my T-II.
Just make sure your getting good quality paint like PPG,
Clear Coat Base Coat, and also make sure they use good primer, if not your paint is going to crack, and peel off in a few months, and the $800.00 bucks you spent will go down the drain, and your gonna feel bad. Also make sure, that the guy is a PRO at what he does in other words. 1) Is it a licensed shop, registered business. 2) Does he have expensive cars there on the premises like BMW's, Mercedes, Jaguars, etc, etc, because this will automatically tell you if the guy does good work, cause obviously people with $$$ arent gonna take there car to a cheap, non-reputable place. 3) Make sure the guy has a freaking oven "For Christ Sake", Ive seen guys painting cars out in the open, with dirt, dust, and all kind of debris blowing everywhere, hey if you wanna spend the money, and like having dust spots all over your ride go ahead, its your car. 4) Check to see if they have there own machines, in other words do they mix there own paint in house ???? 5) Like I mentioned before make sure your getting PPG CLEAR COAT BASE COAT, dont settle for anything less, and make damn sure he's going to use "GOOD PRIMER", and also take the time out to ask if he's going to paint the door jams, and any other exposed areas for that matter. 6) Ask the guy, what I mean is ask the actual person whos going to paint the car "How is he going to prep the car" ????. In other words is he going to remove the rear taillights, and any other trimming so it comes out nice or is he simply going to mask it up with paper, and tape. 7) Last but not least, "GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING, SUCH AS THE WARRANTY, AND, WHATS COVERED, AND ISNT COVERED IN THE WARRANTY, ALSO HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY FOR ???. PERUVIANRX7 If I were you I would save a little bit more money, and shop around to see exactly what your getting for for your money, because it seems to me a decent, and I mean a decent to DAMN good paint job with PPG CLEAR COAT BASE COAT, is gonna run you at least $1,200.00/ $1,500.00 dollars for something thats Really Fu- - - - - Nice !!!! Im talking about when you go pick up your ride you pop a extreme hard on as soon as you see your ride. If I were you, and trust me on this one, SHOP AROUND, and ask the following questions that I previously posted. Like I said I dont know if your in a hurry to paint your car, but save up at least $1,200.00/$1,500.00 bucks, and do it right the first time around "TRUST ME" you will Thank Me later. Also I almost forgot ask them how long will it take them to finish the whole job, if they tell you "Oh it will only take about 1-2 weeks", turn around ,and go somewhere else. A good quality job is gonna take at least a month, anything less I would be skeptical. Good Luck.
