General Questions

Well,

Just got the car and I'm working out the kinks...when I went around a corner earlier today and was 'pushing it' the car started feeling like it had wheel hop (the back end was skipping)...I know it isn't because it's an open diff because my tbird would just slide around instead of skipping.

So, is it because of the bushings or what?

I also get minor wheel hop if I dump the clutch (have only done it once)...

Chassis has got 181k on it and the engine has 81k on it (remanf)...

Also,

1) Windshield wipers only work on 'I' - I assume the switch is burnt out.
2) The AAS doesn't work I don't think...I flipped the switch while it was running, didn’t do anything with the plastic caps off.
3) The cruise control doesn't work.

Thanks in advance…

Findin more and more things, huh?

The wiper thing is most likely the switch. Im not sure if I have an extra one of those or not. Ill have to check.

What about the cruise control isnt working? Are the lights coming on on the switch when you enable it?

the cruise control throttle cable might just not be hooked up, mine wasn't... I just took it out.

as for the wheel hop... I don't know, you might just not have enought power to break the back wheels out totally. ? maybe :P:

AAS: I don't know, it might be burnt out or you might have suspension that isn't stock that didn't work with it.

wipers: yeah, you just need a new switch, http://mazdamark.com/

No, the lights don't work on the cruise control when I hit the round circle switch.

I have enough power to beat my girlfriends camaro that's running a 15.4@94 MPH :)

Also, is there a way to lube the moon roof motor? It's kind of slow! :)

Were there any bumps when you were cornering? It may be as simple as new shocks. My FC had completely worthless shocks on it when I got it. You could almost bounce the back end off the ground by hand!

That was my first thought, it was the shocks, is there a way to test them, just push it down and see if they react?

What kinda tires are you running back there?
