GC coilover spring rates?
hey guys yesterday i order some new tokico Blues and i'm thinking about picking up a set of Ground Control Sleeve Coilovers so i can make some of the wheel gap on my 86base disapear.
this car will be daily driven on not so great roads looking for a decently nice ride. so curious what spring rates do you guys recomend. i was thinking 7K/5K (393 lb / 281 lb) |
I've got 450/325 (8.03k/5.80k) on some KYB AGXs. They feel firm, but ok for the street.

Standard springs are 325/250, that seems to be the closest to what you want. I run it, its a good setup for the street. Remember that 450 lb/in is the limit on the Tokico Illuminas/whites.

i thought the agx could only handle 400 pounds |
You should call ground control and tell them what dampers you have, then run whatever spring they tell you.
They are the suspension engineers. We here are not (for the most, most part) |
I have 450/300 for autocross and it's very stiff on the street.
I've never tried it, but 325/200 sounds good to me. 86 base is a lot lighter than a turbo. |
