Gauge pods...all the same quality?

Alright, I'm getting ready to replace my driver side A-pillar and gauge pod (dual pod) because whoever had the car before me turned the pillar into swiss cheese and the pod still doesn't stay on well...the little fasteners have had it (the 2 that are left...heh). so, I was looking at gauge pods for an s4 rx7 and they range from $15 on ebay to $50+ on some of the big rx7 only sites. So is there a difference in quality in these things? The one I have now feels pretty chinsy....or does anybody make a molded piece liek the ones I see for the FD where the gauge pods are molded into the A-Pillar plastic itself? Give me my options here guys. As above I need it for 2 52mm gauges.

Why not use some 3M molding tape? Plenty strong and it's easy to scrape off and replace if you ever have to take it off.

I may try that out when I get my new A-Pillar and gauge pod in...so I'm guessing nobody knows of a molded piece for the FC or if the $15 pods are just as good as the $50 pods?
