Gauge Pod In Center Behind Wheel Like On FD's?

I've seen some FD's with aftermarket gauge pods that are mounted in the center behind teh steering wheel but before the OEM gauges. It was for a single gauge, but i've never seen it on an FC (well besides in Initial D, lol).

Edit - oh and the point of this, are there any available? My dual gauge pod on the a-pillar blocks my sight way too much.

I bought a small 52mm boost gauge and mounted it on the plasting tingy behing the steering wheel, It works for me.

well since i am rebuilding my engine i am in the process of changing the interior a little i am going to move the lite clust in the center of the dash to below my radio and then can mount about three 52mm gauges where the cluster sat, in my opnion that would be nicer and hide them just a little better instead of being behind the steering wheel and on the pillar. but jyst my thought

No one really makes them yet for our cars.

I've thought of making one for mine but there isn't a lot of space there.

If you made an intergraded piece it would be a bitch to remove/install.

Maybe just buy an Autmometer gauge pod and cut it to fit on there?

Well there is a company in Japan that makes them, however for the price you can get some fabbed that look way better. Rotary RUN Racing makes a double steering wheel cluster, but it sells for 280 dollars, and a tripple meter cluster that sits where the dummy lights and clock are, it is 500 dollars...I called Aerodyne last night because they sell them on their site. Quinn told me not many people buy them and I know why...I friend of mine on here(TonyTurboII) has a very nice triple meter cluster that he got fabricated for about 100, it looks very nice with his 60mm guages, makes me jealous....I plan to get some DEFI gauges and mount 2 below my sony headunit find another place to mount m other two gauges...

an autometer universal pod thing will fit in that spot just fine.
