gas leak on my s4 tII/ need help

Today I was driving my s4 tII and all of a suden started smelling a strong gasoline smell, first I thougt it was the fumes because I'm runing straight pipe all the way to the mufflers but it was like if you open a gas container, when I got home i open the hood and notice that there was a podle of gas underneath the injectors and it was dripping all the way to the floor, I waited to cool off and started taking the inner cooler off and then turn the car on for a while but it wasn't leaking anymore.
Any sugestions on where it could be leaking from?
I forgot to mention that it's all stock. I was lucky it didn't cougth on fire because I drove for about 10 miles like this.

Probably the pulsation damper. It's on the primary fuel rail. If not that, you could have a damaged o-ring on an injector or old cracking fuel lines.

when I got home and after it cool off I had it running for about 5 min. and it didn't leak anymore I even rev it up and nothing. I'm going to have to remove all the intake to check for crack or unplug line?

i would fix that before driving around, and risking a fire.

hope you find the source.

with the key in the on position but engine off, jumper the yellow two-prong connector on the passenger strut tower. That will pressurize the fuel system and help you find leaks, even if the intake manifold is off.

I dont mean to Highjack this thread.. But i notice my fuel Pump always stays on.. If the key is in the on position (not running) the fuel pump just runs. Never shuts off..

Thanks for all your help, I think we found the problem, the "O" rings were a little crack so i change all the seals on the injectors.
Thanks arghx I didn't know that this conector will pressurize the system.
It looks that my problem is solve!

Someone probably bypassed the AFM safety switch / circuit opening relay and wired the pump directly.

Thanks rotaryrocket88

Dont forget about those fuel lines hidden under the uim. Those are not protected by heat wrap and do go bad also..

I already check for more leaks and everything seems to be fine now.
Thanks guys
