for anyone who sees the thread and is interested...thats what im ordering.... |
I was going to recommend the full ES kit, but I'm glad you found it. FYI: You can get it SLIGHTLY cheaper at Summit if you're interested.
EBay $94.99 + $9.99 s/h = $104.98 Summit $93.99 + $8.95 h = $102.94 The nice thing about Summit is their shipping is 'free', you only have to pay the $8.95 handling fee per order. So if there is anything else you need and can get from them, you pay no additional shipping/handling costs. |
nopi.com has them for 79 bux i believe.
|
man, i need that kit, id sell my s5 front bumper for those

EnergySuspension
Mattb, I bought that same kit on eBay. When they sent me an e-mail about the purchase they told me that it was cheaper on their web site. Here is a link to it:

For coilovers you should go with Ground Controls...
|
Well.... IMO... if you are going to replace all those bushings... you should replace your rear suframe mounts and the diff mount while you are at it..
WTF's with the BOOTS????? |
you don't want the red ones YOU WANT THE BLACK ones. The red squeek like crazy so the developed a black version that has graphite in them to help with this problem. The reason the reds are all on ebay and cheaper than they ever were is because they have been replaced with a new and improved version. Get the black

woah...havent been watching the thread...thought it was done...haha ok well thanks for the good info guys. im gonna buy them from summit or their website i think. i want to also get coil overs to go with my KYB AGX but im not sure which to get and which is cheapest and which is best....im still looking...any recomendations?
thanks, -Matt |
I have KYB AGX's on Eibachs......i like them....
|
really the only "coil overs" that go over shocks are the ground control ones. I'd still rather have racing beat or eibach springs though. but I'm planning on just buying real coilovers :p:
|
arent racing beat and other "lowering springs" too soft for AUTO-X...thats what my car is being based around so i want real coil overs

I forgot most the numbers but i think it goes as follows Stock 110 in/lb raceing beats: 135 in/lb and mine were around 400in lb |
well i guess i can just go with racing beat then...kinda of expensive so i might go used....
|
Hey Bukwild if you noticed the energy bushings they are selling are the black ones, unless you specify that you want the red ones.
|
so where can i get good cheap coil overs...and if they are too expensive...are the RB springs the best?
|
Eibachs are progressive.. Most guys don't like 'em for auto-x
If you want the cheapest solution for auto-x.. get the racing beats and a set of AGX's Ride's a litle rougher on the street than the eibachs, but they are crisper on the track because of it!! The Eibachs are progressive, and when you do a quick turn, they feel mushier, for an instant, than the racing beats. Don't forget about anti-roll bars.. I have RB roll bars on my car, I've driven a car with stock roll bars and racing beat springs with tokikos, and my car handles better hands down.. I've driven a car with RB roll Bars, RB springs and AGX's and it was just a bit crisper than mine. |
maybe i should just buy the RB suspension kit. like 500 bucks then get the KYB AGX and that bushing kit. i think thatll do for autocross...then my tires
http://www.nittotire.com/tires_neogen.asp gotta get them...cant help myself... this will all be done for next summer. money will be tight during school this year but ill put a little aside each week for suspension and then this will all go in and it will be a good summer |
