Full exhaust with no supporting mods OK on N/A FC??
HI all, I have an FD, but one of my good friends has a N/A FC and bought a RB racing header and test pipe, and N1 apexi exhaust. I know on the FD you cannot run a full exhaust without a chipped ecu or piggy back for extra fuel. I am wondering if this holds true for the FC as well? I have searched and found nothing!
He did also mention something about a hesitation between 2500-4000 rpm's......Ill have to tell him about the the grounding issues!! Thanks for any help! |
yes, it's fine.

you can run afull exhaust on a non turbo without changing the ECU, but if you have a 84-88 your aux ports won't work, and non turbos don't like any exhaust above 3" for a single or 2" for a dual.

Edit - useless, too late

Well with the ports wired open he looses torque down low. With them not opening he looses breathing and peak HP.
