fuel system questions

I have an 89 TII that I am modding. I wanted to know what I need to do to my fuel system to keep up with my mods.

mods done or to be completed by spring:
no emmisions(cats, air pump and others removed)
upgraded turbo(Turbo Specialties turbo with bored out compressor with larger wheel=300-350hp)
cold air intake

I have a 3rd gen fuel pump currently, what else do I need? larger injectors? S-AFC? Is the third gen fuel pump a big enough pump for my setup?

Thanks for any help,
Kris

Sorry if you were feeling lonely dude...

Here's a shot. If you are only looking for 300-350 fwhp (~280 rwhp), then all you need to go w/ your mods above are (just my recommendations):

1. Guages: A/F, boost. Don't do anything until you get the guages. They are cheap. You should be able to get both and a dual pod for around $150.

2. More fuel: at least 720 sec...but I recommend going more to something like 680 pri/720 sec or something to that level, maybe even 550/900...you get the idea. Make sure you have the correct impedance (high for your car).

3. S-AFC can control your fuel curve. Remember don't overkill on the injector size (ala 1200 or 1600) because the AFC can only adjust so much.

4. ECU reporgram or FCD for fuel cut: I recommend ECU reprogram becasue it also adjusts your timing as well. If $ is an issue, you should be able to get by w/ just the AFC.

Your pump is good enough for that level of power. But make sure that your car is running 100% before doing anything to it. Good luck,

Jay
