Fuel System Problems (feed/return)(injector plugs)
 

87TII, with S5 TII swap

Ok, i have searched and would just like to verify that my injecotors are hooked up right now...because i am still a little unsure how this works.

As of now, i am guessing from what i have read that the two injector bundles are NOT for primary and secondary injectors but for Rotor one, and two.

My question is how do i tell which injector clip is for the primary (bottom) and which is for the secondary(top)? Also, i'm assuming that the side with the thermosensor is the front rotor (1), and the side with the o2 sensor is for the rear rotor? but how do i tell which is primary and secondary?

Also, my fuel lines are also something i would like to double check. I have it hooked up so it feeds to the primarys (bottom rail) and exits out the secondary raid (top one). Is that correct or should it be the other way around

Sorry for the stupid questions but i've had the car apart for so long to rebuild and stupidly i took no pictures to remember how it went back together...however i think the car was brutally hacked since i got it.

I believe your fuel lines are hooked up correctly...the main pressure line should feed your primairies...

as far as your injector plugs I am not quite sure

The stock lay of the wiring harness should place the injector plugs in such a way that its near impossible to mix them up.

there wasnt even any tape or loom on the harness when i yanked the first motor so i have no clue what goes were

and..

OnDemand 5 dosnt tell me to which injector the clips go to, only that the injectors are there!

The wires for the fuel injector plugs are color coded. Look in your FSM's wiring diagrams and you'll readily see what colors go to which injector. No FSM. Easy. Download the series four FSM wiring diagrams which are online and free.

do the fuel lines hook up like i descibed? feed going into the primary rail and the return going from the secondary?

On a USA car the return comes from the secondary rail just after the FPR.

The feed line goes to the primary rail.

On my cars the fuel line from the fuel filter goes to the most forward of the two fuel feed pipes.

JSPEC engine fuel lines are a bit different from what I hear.

There is a clear picture of how the fuel lines run in the FUEL seciton of the fsm.
