fuel requirements/modds guesstimate

So fresh turbo boost range is 15-21 range planning 18-19psi before upgrading rtek2.1 think I can run this much boost without more fuel/timming... tried to research through digitaltuning website but not telling me what i need to know.
thanks in advance, I know its hard to say for sure because every car is different. just wanting to know someones advice who is a little more into calculations.

planning 350ish hp @ 18-19 psi
88 t2
agressive streetport <20k on it built for boost with all the goodies
3in rev 2
3in intake
modded tb/no twin scroll (welded mani)/no emmisisons
hybrid 60 trim/huge ported wastegate
cleaned 550/720 all flowing perfect
walboro 255
rtek 1.7

The Rtek 1.7 is not intended for use with anything but a stock turbo. At the minimum you need to use something like an SAFC to add fuel. Stock calculations will not be enough. Timing is also a problem, since the stock maps account for boost dropping off towards redline. If you throw in a free-flowing hybrid that can make boost at high RPMs, the timing will now be dangerously advanced. Then there's the issue of the MAP sensor not measuring anything over 1 bar (14.7 psi). If you go over that level, you will have no way to add more fuel based on pressure. The AFM door will be the only thing having any effect at that point. The high pressures your suggesting using are also the territory where a lot of people use water or alcohol injection for knock control.

Stretching it a bit on the fueling., also SAFCS dont turn things up very well, they are better at turning large injectors down.

so rtek 2.1 swap 720 in primaries 850cc secondaries(i know 720/720) before those boost levels or close, stay around 10-12 now

yours setup is pretty close there rocket... boost levels and power your around please

RotaryRocket88 09-11-10 10:51 PM

Your hybrid turbo will make a big difference, but on my stock turbo I run 12 psi. I have added approx. 2-8% additional fuel under boost, and I have 1-3 degrees of timing pulled from 3000-7000 RPM for high load. I could switch it to MAP based timing, but the tune has proven to be safe as-is. I don't know what the power level is exactly, but 250 whp is a reasonable guess based on others' results.

When I eventually move to a hyrbid turbo, I plan on using 720/850cc injectors, MAP based timing with much less advance at high RPMs, and water injection on the stock TMIC. I wouldn't be running more than 15 psi still due to MAP sensor limitations.

gotcha.... very informative
just saw the other guy you helped asking pretty much the same questions back in july.
Searching other sites forget to search this one a bit
apologese
