Fuel pump rewire on S4 N/A Chasis and standalone
 

Ive been doing PLENTY of reading and searching on fuel pump rewires but im not finding out how to do it on an s4 n/a chasis (no fuel pump resistor relay) and with a stand alone. Will i be retaining the factory fuel pump relay by the steering column or will i be using an all new relay in the rear by the fuel pump and battery? Whats the easiest way to do this?

Pretty well all you will be doing is using the Power wire to the pump to activate the pump.
I cut the positive on my Pump and attached it to the Fuel pump wire of the Haltech.Ran a extra ground and done.
The Haltech harness has it's own relay.

im running an adaptronic e420d, it only has the signal wire coming from the ecu. so run the signal wire to the stock relay and a fresh power to the stock relay then i can use the stock wiring from there back to the fuel pump?

I left my NA relay alone and attached the Wire after the harness connector(between the pump and connector).
So basically the Stock relay powers nothing,since the power wire is cut to the pump.
I can't give ya 100% info on the Adaptronic,But YA,there should be a way to activate the stock relay.
Personally I would run another Fresh relay.(that is partially why I went standalone,to not have to rely on any Stock wiring to control any functions for the fuel,ignition,etc.)

You don't perform any type of stock based rewire if you are using a standalone. You'll use the fuel pump output of the standalone to trigger a relay which will power the pump directly from your aux fuse panel via a set of large (12 gauge, or even larger depending on the pump) wires.

The MS3/MS3-Pro schematics show how the fuel pump relay is configured. Same for any standalone. It also shows the connections to the fuel pump at the back of the car.
