Fuel pump question

ok I am doing a TII swap and I'm curious about the fuel pump. Do I have to change it out or can I use the N/A one. If I don't need to it is only for a couple of weeks till I get some money. And if I do have to replace it, do I need to buy a TII fuel pump assembly or just the pump? I don't have enough money for a Walbro right now. LOL

Definately get a walbro or a TII one... N/A won't put out enough fuel and you'll go lean... poof.. Get a full pump unit... Would be foolish not to buy the entire thing.... Lots of o-rings and filter screens and stuff in the pack...

ohh ok

So I can just buy the pump byitself?

Yeah, you can actually get a Walbro 255LPH pump for pretty cheap on Ebay Motors. ($95-$100 or so) Comes with everything you need. Search "RX7 fuel pump".

get a supra pump that way your are good for a while. The walbros over power the stock fpr.

Where can you buy a Fuel Pump Fuel Filter?

Dont use n/a FP it wont push out enuff fuel, look into a walbro 255

The FD pump is an option as well. Direct replacement of the stock pump. Not sure on size comparison to the Supra pump, it is smaller than the Walbro though.

The supra pump will flow just as much as the walbro in most flow studys in some it even exceeds it. The benifit to haveing the supra pump is it wont over power the fpr and give it a richer than normal idel. Also it is a denso pump and there for more reliable also it is a direct drop in replacement.

As for a fuel filter mazda is the only place I would pic one up, but if your straped for cash try the for sale section. I am guessing your talking about the one in the tank. If its the out side one only replace it with a new oem filter.
