Fuel Pressure Guage
I purchased a SX FPR with 6 AN fittings and it does not come with a NPT fitting for a guage. I have found a Eral's fittig for a guage, but I am not sure where to mount it. Would it be before or after the FPR?

Before the regulator.

before.

Parallel Fuel Lines
I will be running a AN/SS fuel setup. Will it be okay to be on just one line?
Thanx Michael |
I take it you are planning to split the feed and run each rail through a different port on the FPR.... There's nothing wrong with this, but its really not necessary until you get up into really high HP.....
if you are going to put it on just one line... put it on the secondaries.... that way, you'll be able to see if the pressure falls off in the secondary rail on boost..... Really should have two gauges.. but who the hell has 2 x 180 bucks for electric Fuel Pressure gauges.... |

The secondaries are no more or less important, but the secondary fuel rail comes after the primary rail. If the pressure starts dropping anywhere, it will drop at the end of the secondary rail first. If you see a pressure drop there, you've got problems, and it will be the earliest warning of fuel pressure issues. As I read it, his advice is only if things are run "stock" with fuel pump -> primary rail -> secondary rail -> FPR.
