fuel injector help!!

okay, here is the latest.....I finally got the time to pull out my injectors. The tech manual says that the injectors should be reading 1.5 to 3 ohms, but mine all read between 10 and 12. Does anyone know what that would do? In other words, would that cause an injector to push through too much fuel, or not enough?? I finally got it unflooded, but it still won't start. Unflooded it, then tried to start it just a couple times, and after that the plugs were FILLED with gas. Am sending them off to be cleaned, but I know that they can't fix an injector electronically like that. Also, I am now looking at the pressure regulator and the fuel pump because of all the fuel I am getting. I tried the test to check the fuel pump at startup....you should be able to hear it whine for a few seconds to pressurize the system, but mine doesn't make a sound. Of course, I am still getting all that fuel, so what does that mean?? And how can I check the regulator to make sure that it works? Right now, the top half of the engine is in my house, so any ideas that require the engine to be intact are no good. BTW--it is an 86 GXL with 87K on it and everything is original. I was driving it and all of a sudden it just sputtered and died on me--hasn't started since. To date, I have done:

new battery
checked the coils--good
new plug wires
checked the crank angle sensor, solenoid resistor, EGI relay--all good
replaced the AFM
new spark plugs are coming, but don't want to foul them up trying to start it....

It gets air. It gets spark. It definitely gets fuel. What should the compression be on a 13B that has been sitting for months? I can't warm it up since it won't start. Did a comp check, and cold it came back at mid 80s, with even bounces, so I know I don't have a blown seal. I need ideas!! I am so close to getting this thing figured out.....ANY help would be appreciated!!!!

Sounds like you had high impedence injectors in there!

Mid 80s is enough compression for it to start and run, especially if you had done the test cold. Does it start at all, like even for a split second, but then die? Those injecotors sound as if they may be the wrong impedance, are you sure they are the originals? If driving around for long periods of time with the wrong impedance injectors, I've heard that it may have a negative effect on the wiring and possably ECU.
