Fuel filter and O2 sensor choices

Well, I was doing some browsing for parts today, and was looking at the different brands for fuel filter and O2 sensor. You got your choice of Purolator, Fram, Beck/Arnley, Wix, AC Delco, and OEM for fuel filters. For O2 sensor there is Bosch, Beck/Arnley, Borg Warner, Niehoff, Standard Motor Products, Delphi, and OEM. What do you guys suggest? I'm planning on going with the OEM for both because I'm not a huge fan of any of the other brands that are there to pick from. Thanks guys. :)

I have a 90'. Fuel filter I use OEM. For O2 I use NGK #24036. Its OEM and has the connector but you have to buy it at Sparkplugs.com where its only $45 (i haven't checked in a longtime-may be more now?). I used to use Bosch before but it would generate a Code '17' when I ran diagnotics.

Yea, I'm pretty sure I'll be going with the Mazda OEM fuel filter. This NGK O2 sensor has me thinkin'. I've always been a huge fan of NGK, and it claims this one is better than the OEM because it's platinum tipped. I love the platinum NGK plugs I bought, seeing as how everytime I've pulled them out, they've always been perfectly clean, even after 10k miles of use so far. The OEM fuel filter looks like it comes with clamps and all from Mazdatrix for 32.47, and the OEM O2 sensor from there is 221.89. The NGK O2 sensor is 32.85 from sparkplugs.com. I think tomorrow I'm going to call into the Mazda dealership and check prices and decide from there. :)

Buy an OEM fuel filter at the dealer, and get a generic one wire Bosch sensor at the auto parts store (about $25).

i got a universal o2 sensor, im just going to cut the connector from the current one and solder it onto the universal O2 sensor.

I just put in the OEM fuel filter and got soaked, depressurize the fuel system when u do, or get ready to take a gasoline shower

I use the nippon fuel filter (comes with the bracket) nippon = manufature for mazda
and for oxy sensor I use a direct fit denso oxygen sensor

to many times I have gone over the negative side of unsing universal oxys I wont go into it again if u want to know my opinion on them do a search

Just called into the Mazda dealership, and the fuel filter without the clamps is 15 dollars, and the OEM O2 sensor is 250 dollars. Looks like I'll be ordering the NGK O2 sensor from Sparkplugs.com and the OEM fuel filter from Mazdatrix. :)

Just get the generic Bosch for c. $20 at your local Kragen, Pep Boys, etc.

Make sure you can get the old one off before you buy a new one. They do tend to seize.
