front rotor no fuel
i have 2 '88 rx7s. one convertible one hatch. i took the motor from the convertible and put it into the hatchback. my current problem im facing now after i did the swap is i believe i have no fuel going to the front rotor. i had pulled plugs they look shiny and clean, back plugs have normal burn marks to them, tested spark and i do have spark at front plugs.
so my questions from this are: what all controls the fuel, is the front rotor controlled separate from rear rotor. little history of the other problems i had previous on the swap: -vacuum leak in 2 areas, bad hoses -fuel tank full of gunk from the car sitting for 3-4 years. drained and cleaned fuel tank, replaced fuel filter. (the gas from the tank and filter was dark brown, very nasty) the last part would of course show a sign that maybe my injectors got clogged up from the nasty gas, but before i take the intake off to check injectors i want to figure out what else it could possibly be. |
First thing I would do is send my injectors off to get cleaned, especially if you knowingly ran horrible gas through them.

i probably going to do that either way, even if i do find another problem. another question that came to mind sense i did this swap. both cars should have identical wiring harness right? i marked and plugged in all the same wires, but is anything wired different. both are 88, so should both be S4.
