Front Plate Gouge Question?
 

I think this is ok but thought I'd ask those who know before I use it. The front plate has a gouge and I wondered if this is a concern? Only concern I have is that it may propagate.

You will be fine, It is where it's just casting. It won't effect your coolant seals or anything, go ahead and use it.
