Front cover teflon, oil pressure regulator, and oil pump question

Hi guys,
I was wondering where does the white teflon o ring goes? Also I have a turbo oil pump, should I replace my NA pump with it or is that over kill? Also, I saw pineapple racing's video on crushing the rear regulator for increase oil pressure, should I do this for a street port NA? What are the main benefits of increase pressure, also do i really need to shim the front cover as well or can i get away with slightly crushing the rear regulator for increase pressure? what combination would be best for my build in regards to turbo oil pump,(I dont have a baffle plate) crushing rear regulator, and or shimming the front cover? Thanks in advance for the help!

Teflon o-ring goes on S5 front iron, around rubber o-ring , keeps it in place :

good info with pictures here : 86-92 Front Cover "O"-Ring

Using TII pump should not harm, it will give you more flow.
Slight crushing rear oil pressure regulator and bumping pressure up 10-15psi does not harm either. If you have problems with oil temps, raising initial oil pressure will help you keep oil pressure in safe range, even with high oil temps (= higher oil temp gets, lower is oil pressure)

Shimming front regulator should not be necessary, as its mainly as fail-safe device and rated way higher than what you should be crushing your rear oil pressure regulator too. Just make sure its not stuck.
