Front Bumper Advice Needed

Im looking at an S5 to buy and while I was looking at it today I notced that the front bumper was pushed in behind the licence plate. It didnt look cracked at all just pushed in a little. Can I fix this or would I need to get a new bumper skin?

Most likely it can be popped back out. My bumper is kinda bouncy i can push it liek 3 inches in and pops out and retains shape. Though i think if it was a sharp impact rather than a large hollow one it might stay. You can probably get it fixed with some rubber bondo if this is the case.

Does anybody have anything else to add? Any experiences?

Behind the bumper cover is a styrofoam insert, behind that is the sub-bumper. If I eat civics can push his cover in 3", the his sub-bumper is broken and needs replaced. The only way to really know it to take it apart.

I bought a TII and the the previous said he had a minor rearender and the cover was just slightly in. When I pulled it apart, the sub-bumper was cracked nearly in half and v-shaped and part of the sheet metal behind it was pushed in.

Check the gap between the bumper cover and the hood. Is it even all the way across and how wide is it? Should be 1/8-3/16ths of an inch.

I've got an extra front bumper skin complete with styrafoam and bumper support if you're interested. Located in SF, send a PM if you're interested.

I dont really remember specificly looking at the gap but I think it was even, 1/8th inch sounds about right.
