fresh rebuild low compression on one rotar face.
 

I just compression tested my moter for my drift car today and the front rotor reads about 90 psi on all faces. but the rear rotor reads about 90psi on 2 faces and about 60 on the third face. I dont know how one of the faces is reading lower then the rest i mean I clearenced all of the new side seals with in spec. the only thing i can think of is that i didnt get the angle on one quit right or I just went a hair to far, or one of my side or corner seals isnt moving freely for some reason. what im wondering is if after the brake in when all the seals seat and wear in to the housings will that face that reads 60psi go up and hopfully read closer 2 the rest of the faces that read 90psi? and will it even make that big of a differans if one face reads 30psi lower then the rest or will I even notice it? Im using resurfaced rotor housings from goopy, goopy apex seals, oem side seals, adkins 1 peace corner seals with fd springs, and all new springs all around.

I'm buying you a dictionary for Christmas. But as far as the engine, if it starts, let it run until it reaches operating temp, then test compression again while its still hot.

I know I have bad grammer lol. I doubt it will have any problem starting with one rotar face being 30psi low. but what will that tell me when I test it at operating temp?

one of the side seals probably is too tight of a fit and is sticking. compression will get better as you break it in

Old thread, but it sounds to me like a jammed side seal. Either the groove wasn't cleaned of carbon or the seals weren't sized properly. I had the same problem with a motor I built a couple years ago, hoped it would cure itself but eventually the tight-fitting seal broke and I had to tear the motor down again.
