FPD banjo bolt washers...

So I started the car up after putting everything back together, drove it around and checked under the hood to find the fpd/banjo bolt I used is leaking... I only used the washers that came with the banjo bolt, so I'm assuming that's the issue.

The question I have is, when using the bajo bolt mod, what is the orientation of the stock washers? Both on one side, one on each side, etc...?

one on each side, always. but you have to pay attention to the diameter of the supplied washers as they may not seal against the hole on the pipe fittings. if they aren't properly sized you can reuse the original crush washers if they will work with your banjo bolt.

first, make 100% it is the banjo joint and not the fuel line that connects to the banjo joint. If it leaks at the fitting, it will spray on the banjo, and the visibility in that area is not good.

Usually the banjo bolt comes with cheap aluminum washers. The stock copper ones are much better in that if you anneal them, you can reuse them everytime. Heat them up with a blow torch until they are red, and you are ready to reuse them. Make sure you hold them on a hanger, so that you are not putting a load on them when heating. However, I have no idea if they work with the banjo bolt, as I elected to keep my PD.
