found remaining two screws holding in dash need help geeting to them

i have got only two screws left to get out only problem is i cant get a scredriver to them to remove them. if you remove the radio and put your hand at the back of the tray to where you can touch the transmision tunnel, also this is where the radio tray buts up against the heater thingy that distributes the air. there is about a one inch gap in there just big enough for me to feel the two screws holding the dash in. the head of the screw is pointed towards the front of the car. the screw is screwed into the bottom of the radio tray/dash. there is one on both sides close to the edge. if i lay down in the floor and go between the ai box thingy and the tranny tunnel i can get a \screwdriver to it but it is to much of an angle to get them out. your ideas would be greatly apreciated
thanx

try a ratchet with a screwdriver bit.. You can get some real nice torque like that. ;) I had to use that to break the screws loose when I did the TB mod.

Taking out the dash is a major pain ... but the two serews you speak of are not your problem ... I think those are the ones which holds the plastic to the metal support ... the ones which are the pain are the ones on the top of the dash under the defrost vents, you also have some on each side by the A/C vents, door A/C pipe tube (rubber), etc ... not real fun ...

I concur with TOTPKG. The dash is a pain! Have you removed all four bolts behind the small kick panel at each side of the center stack? All the screws across the top next to where the dash meets the windshield. You gotta pop the metal trim piece off to get to them. I can think of no screw in the area you're talking about (especially facing backwards) that hold the dash in.
