fmic installed working fine then...

i hit full boost then when i started to slow down by letting off the gas it just kept going and now everytime i push the clutch in it races to 3000-4000 rpm any ideas on wtf i did to it?

wierd tension on the throttle cable somewhere, possibly.

Unrelated but, With an rtek 1.7 isnt 720cc primarys and 750cc 2ndaries too much fuel? I thought that ecu was calibrated for 55o primary and 720cc secondaries.

not a boost leak from the piping, but a vacum leak somewhere..

rotaryracer1 01-04-09 12:08 PM

did you build your own piping for your fmic or is it a greddy kit

Either a snagged throttle cable (check for binding) or more likely you blew a vac hose off under boost and now have a really big vac leak. The leak will be after the throttle body, so look for hoses hooked to the upper or lower intake manifolds.

Stuck throttle cable.

turns out i messed up the welding on the bov and the throttle cable kinked, its all fixed now... after being towed home, ps its a greddy kit
