THose are your emissions solenoids for your vac rack. You can remove them, but its not as simple as just removing them. Are you in an emissions state?

No i dont. what do i have to do to get them outa there and not worry about VAC leaks or anything like that?

Do a search on the rat's nest removal.

so if i am reading those posts right all i have to do is remove the nest and cap all the vac lines off and make a fuel line?

Yea that's basically it. For some reason though alot of people have trouble figuring it out. Not sure why.

Removing the vacuum rack is pretty simple. If people take the time to look at the diagrams and see what it is BEFORE they start ripping shit out, they won't have problems. The problem is, some people are too lazy to read and look at the diagrams. They post here and wait for hours or even days why the car doesn't start when all they need to do is look at the diagrams.

It should be common sense that if you live in emission testing states, you need the solenoids and EGR valve.

This isn't intended to anyone here before someone gets their panties wound up.
It comes up almost every couple weeks.
