fmic on fc

ive got some questions about fmic's on my fc. im going to be buying a fmic from a friend of mine. i was looking and it seems like it would fit fine. my next problem is where the hell am i ganna run the piping. the see a 2'' or so hole next to the battery. im pretty clueless when it comes to the passenger side. then i took the big fan shroud out. damn theres alot more room than before. i was wondering if i could instead run the ic between the radiator and the fan. pretty much just mounting it on the back of the radiator, having air pushed though the radiator and ic and drawn out by the fan. it would be very easy to run the pipes that way. would there be any draw backs or ill effects on the radiator? would i see any performance gains over stock? or should i just go with mounting it in a standard fmic way? ne thoughts would be much help. thanks

well, it'd probabaly be worse than stock. theres a reson for having a FRONT mound intercooler. if you place it behind the radiator you are just getting warm air all up in yur IC when the point is to make air colder.

grab a grinder, and grind holes in your chassi for the pipeing to come through from the front. that what ive done, in the pictures the holes r just above where the side pipes go back into the engine bay. you cant see the actual holes in the picture, but they arnt hard to cut out if u have a grinder.

It is not recommended to mount an intercooler behind the radiator.
