flywheel/ clutch dont match??

Hey,

I just bought a lightweight flywheel and Centerforce clutch, both used, from separate people. Both were supposed to fit my s4 TII. The problem is, the sprung hub on the clutch is too big to fit the inside area of the flywheel. I tried a spare NA clutch disc, and it fit. so my question is, is there a difference in the sprung hub diameter between NA and TII? or did I end up with the wrong clutch? or what?

diameter of the flywheel inset is 5.5 inches, same as a NA stock one. however, the surface is flat like a TII flywheel. diameter of the clutch hub is 5.7 inches.

thanks

It sounds like you already suspect the flywheel seller had incorrect specs.

If he won't take it back, you may have to resell it.

I know they're expensive.

As your aware, the TII flywheel is a larger diameter than the N/A, as is the TII disc. If the disc is larger in diameter then the N/A disc and maches up to the pressure plate, then it's probably a Turbo clutch assembly. Check to see if the PP aligns with the holes on the flywheel. Also hub size should be different on the TII disc.
I'm at work right now, so can't supply you with dimensions, but at least this will send it BTT.
