Fluid Leak from steering above feet/pedals?

Geez, my problems seem to never end.. Anyone know what the hell could be leaking on my car. Its a oil or some fluid leak that drips down on my feet when I am drivign the car. ITs not a bad leak, maybe one drop a weak or so, but its def. some type of fluid.. Any ideaS?

could be from the brake master cylinder, or the clutch master cylinder, if the rubber boots that covers the end of the piston is worn or cracked, chances are it can leak lightly. Just look up under there and see if you can see any tears in the rubber where the metal rod goes into each cylinder.

it should be the clutch master cylinder

It's one of the two.. Which one has the fluid level constantly going down?

That's why I said to check them both, figure out which it is and work from there :)

I had that problem with my RX7 N/A and it was my speedometer cable seal on the transmission side. I replaced the seal and it cured the leak.

Hey! Thanks guys. Your right though, my brake fluid is the one that is going down, not very fast, but now that I think about it, about as fast as the fluid drips.... i fill it about once every two months. Whewn you say lok up under, do you mean under the steering or in the engine compartment... Damn, I didnt know that the brake fluid could drip down into the pass. compartment!! Thanks again!! Oh yea. anyopne knoe where I can buy a new master cyclinder.....

JJMRKS, I had the exact problem with my speedo cable, went to mazda, pick up the seal, actually pickedup two, one above and the one below, put the speedo cable back into the driven gear, and no more leak!
