Flucuating idle

Ok i just got done removing my rats nest and installing my FMIC and my idle sucks. it is high when i start it(2,500) and as it warms up it jumps from 1,300-1,600(sounds like i have a big cam lol). ive replaced the UIM gasket, not it. i also noticed i can unplug the BAC valve and my idle does not change at all, what does this mean? i cant hear any vacum leaks, im pretty sure i capped all the lines i needed too off. any help would be great...all i want is a steady idle!!!!!

check vacuum with a guage first or your starting blind. If you have no vacuum leaks, than adjust tps and idle settings from there. It sounds like a tps though

however, if it is surging kind of like cycling between 2 rpm's then either its the TPS, the BAC or the ecu is fried which in my case, what a pita, but at least it fixed oh so many problems!

I know this has been answerd about 100000000 times but how do u check/adjust the tps??

Check to make sure all your hoseclamps on your couplers are tight. Search for how to check the TPS it takes all of 2 minutes. FYI I had to reset my TPS and idle after my greddy fmic install. Are you sure your bov isnt leaking?
