Floor problems

My rx7 has serious holes in the floor, but my frame is solid. What is the best way to go about fixing it myself. My friend who is a mechanic said to use sheet metal and pro-form Structural Panel adhesive. Has anyone done this job and can offer some advice? Or anyone have a clue how much a body shop may charge roughly?

Best thing to do against rust:

Cut it out, and weld in new

i agree cut out rust and weld in new metal.

Sheet metal and welding is the correct way. I use a zinc rich primer to protect the new patch that was welded. Under the car I also used enamel metal paint and them rubberized undercoating.
