Flooding at start, won't start
Long story short.....S5 turbo, car was running fine, took it apart to install 750's and add sard Fpr. While I had it torn down I went ahead and got rid of the rats nest (This is not my first time doing this, and I have another 7 exactly like this that runs great so basically just copied it). The only difference is that car has a RE chipped ecu, the one I am currently working on I decided to go with rtek 1.7. When I attempt to start the car it floods it self out and won't start. Pull the plugs and there soaked. I have good spark, I have good fuel pressure, only thing I can guess is there is somthing I am missing causing the ecu to dump a crap load of fuel at start up. I had my friend who is a rx7 genius look it over and he thinks the problem is ecu related. Any help would be great.
I also am going to be swapping ecu'so over the weekend, but thought I would ask here also. I also posted this in the rtek section. |
couple questions.
did you install FOUR 750's or just 2 on the secondaries? ..and what is the fuel pressure set at.(around 38 is good) |
Just 2 750's in the secondarys. Pressure is around 40-45.
