flex radiator hose
has anyone ever use these before? i had my upper radiator hose split on me, and im either going to get this or the samaco silicone kit. because this is the second one that has done it to me, in the past two years.
does anyone know the heat ranges on these. all the ones on ebay say they are made of out stainless steel. http://www.holley.com/data/HolleyNew...rge%20E-33.jpg |
i was gonna get thoes but ended up getting a good deal on some silicone ones. ive seen thoes on extremly high hp cars, i dont think you'd have to worry about them failing but have never used them first hand

Get the silicone ones, those flex hoses look bad on imports IMO.

i bet those arent cheap!

Samco silicone is the way to go.
|
yeah its about the same price for both the stainless steel or the silicone. i have heard good things about the samaco just nothing about the stainless steel.
|
so still no comments on if the stainless steel is junk or not.

well, ive got flex hose for my lower radiator hose, but i dont know if your talking about the same thing. the hose i have is fine, doesnt seem to be bad or anything like that, so, i guess i like it. it was only like 15 bucks brand new.

I have a rubber flex hose for my upper radiator pipe. Never had any problems with it.
|
id go with the samco personally. but imo theres really no differance. just go with what you want.
